Army Reserve Tuition Assistance Training
What is Army Reserve Tuition Assistance?
You may be eligible for Army
Reserve Tuition Assistance. Contact Martinsburg Institute to find out more information by using
the form to the left or our phone number above! Army Reserve Tuition Assistance (TA) is the Army Reserve's educational financial
assistance program. It
provides active duty Army Reserve personnel with funding
for Army Reserve education programs taken in an off-duty status at a post-secondary
institution accredited by a nationally or regionally accredited body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Martinsburg Institute accepts approved Military Tuition Assistance Authorizations
allowing Army Reserves to begin training upon submission of TA to our student services
offices.
Spouse Benefits
Martinsburg Institute (MI) has instituted a Spouse Benefit Program to assist spouses
of MI graduates. The spouse of any service member completing a MI program can receive
the same program at no cost. The laptop and coursework can be kept up to six months
after a service member graduates, for use by a spouse. Additionally, MI will continue
to provide academic support to spouses for this time period. Although spouses will
not receive a certificate of completion from MI they will be provided with a college
credit transcript service at no cost. This means that if they successfully complete the work and tests in their program a transcript will reflect the coursework and
credits earned. Currently MI utilizes Excelsior College’s transcript service for
this program.
