Our Student Services department takes into account the specific needs of deployed personnel. Martinsburg Institute also participates in the MyCAA program to assist military spouses in gaining skills for portable careers.

Severely Injured Service Members Scholarship

Martinsburg Institute recognizes the enormous sacrifices made by our military men and women and their families on an ongoing basis. We are proud to participate in the Severely Injured Service Member and Spouse Scholarship program.

These scholarships are available to any service member who has been severely wounded in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or any spouse or dependent designated by the service member. In addition, the service member’s spouse, children, or dependents are also eligible. Students can apply for this scholarship via the DANTES website or by contacting the school directly. We have made four scholarships available per year, each to cover the full cost of a training program of the student’s choice. There are no deadline dates. The basis for selection is a review of the statement made by the applicant of why s/he feels s/he should be awarded the scholarship. The maximum award of each scholarship is $4500.
